新材料的研制和開發(fā)是新技術(shù)的基礎(chǔ),材料物理是推動(dòng)材料科學(xué)發(fā)展的重要基礎(chǔ)。材料物理是以研究材料結(jié)構(gòu)與性能為主線,兼顧近代應(yīng)用物理、現(xiàn)代分析手段以及無機(jī)、有機(jī)、高分子材料的最新進(jìn)展,了解各種材料的概念、制備方法和性能特點(diǎn)、應(yīng)用和存在的科學(xué)問題,并根據(jù)材料科學(xué)與工程的發(fā)展需求填補(bǔ)必要的物理內(nèi)容,突破材料與物理之間的學(xué)科壁壘,注重多學(xué)科之間的交叉與聯(lián)系?,F(xiàn)代材料科學(xué)發(fā)展的基礎(chǔ)已經(jīng)由過去的宏觀研究和發(fā)展進(jìn)入到微觀分析和研究,用電子、原子、分子的尺度來研究改變物質(zhì)的性質(zhì),發(fā)展新興的材料??偨Y(jié)材料科學(xué)數(shù)十年來的發(fā)展歷程,國(guó)務(wù)院學(xué)位委員會(huì)于1998年修訂研究生專業(yè)目錄時(shí),特別設(shè)立了材料物理和化學(xué)專業(yè)。其中材料化學(xué)部分,比較成熟,有一定基礎(chǔ),但材料物理創(chuàng)立不久,其含義和內(nèi)容只初其概念急需不斷探索和完善。由于當(dāng)今對(duì)服務(wù)于高科技、現(xiàn)代工業(yè)和國(guó)防為主的現(xiàn)代材料或新材料的需求量越來越大,新材料的研制與開發(fā)速度也越來越快,因而涌出的新概念、新理論、新技術(shù)、新方法、新工藝、新產(chǎn)品和新問題越來越需要材料學(xué)家和物理學(xué)家等共同努力,來歸納、整理、總結(jié)及創(chuàng)新。由此產(chǎn)生的材料物理專業(yè)無疑是多學(xué)科知識(shí)交叉、滲透的結(jié)果,它給現(xiàn)代材料的研究、開發(fā)和應(yīng)用以及相關(guān)科學(xué)的發(fā)展帶來了新的空間。為新材料的可持續(xù)發(fā)展提供完善而系統(tǒng)的理論指導(dǎo)和技術(shù)保障。
本專業(yè)以功能材料、復(fù)合材料、超細(xì)顆粒和納米材料、寶玉石優(yōu)化及材料改性為研究對(duì)象,利用物理原理、先進(jìn)儀器和分析方法,研究材料的組成、結(jié)構(gòu)、制備工藝及其性能之間的關(guān)系,強(qiáng)調(diào)自然科學(xué)知識(shí)和文化素質(zhì)教育相結(jié)合。本專業(yè)課程設(shè)置分公共平臺(tái)、(材料)大類平臺(tái)和專業(yè)平臺(tái)進(jìn)行安排,主要課程包括:鄧小平理論概論、高等數(shù)學(xué)、大學(xué)物理、近代物理、固體物理、材料概論、材料表界面、材料研究方法、材料物理、材料破壞理論等。本專業(yè)還設(shè)有下廠實(shí)習(xí)、畢業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)和畢業(yè)論文等實(shí)踐環(huán)節(jié),注重基礎(chǔ)理論教育與工程教育相結(jié)合,理論教學(xué)與實(shí)踐相結(jié)合,以拓寬學(xué)生的知識(shí)面,增強(qiáng)適應(yīng)性,培養(yǎng)創(chuàng)新能力。
本專業(yè)以“教育要面向現(xiàn)代化,面向世界,面向未來”為指導(dǎo)思想,把提高人才培養(yǎng)質(zhì)量放在首位,培養(yǎng)德、智、體全面發(fā)展的面向21世紀(jì)的高級(jí)人才。要求學(xué)生經(jīng)過四年學(xué)習(xí)具有扎實(shí)的理論基礎(chǔ),基本掌握物理原理在材料中的應(yīng)用,同時(shí)了解材料組成、結(jié)構(gòu)與性能、制備工藝、改性關(guān)系和近代測(cè)試技術(shù)與分析方法,能從事材料設(shè)計(jì)、制造、性能開發(fā)與應(yīng)用研究等方面的工作。
本專業(yè)畢業(yè)生適應(yīng)方向:從事近代物理原理與應(yīng)用,儀器分析,材料設(shè)計(jì)、制備與性能研究等研究院、所和大專院校,面向能源、環(huán)境、電子電器、通訊、輕工、化工、醫(yī)藥、國(guó)防軍工、航天航空、建材、冶金、生物工程等有關(guān)企業(yè)和公司。
本專業(yè)學(xué)制4年,學(xué)生達(dá)到教學(xué)要求后,可獲得本科畢業(yè)證書和理學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位證書。
Materials Physics
The new materials research and exploitation act as the basis of new technology, and the promotion of material physics as the important foundation of materials science. Material Physics concentrate on material structure and property research, current applied physics, modern analytic methods concerned. We pay much attention to the newly progress in inorganic, organic and polymer material. Various material concepts, preparation methods, performance features, and scientific problems on application are taken into further consideration into our study as well. We update the necessary physic contents in accordance with the development of material science and technology and break the disciplinary barrier between materials and physics. The foundation of the development of modern materials science has been shifting from macro-research to micro-study, using electric/atomic/molecular size to investigate materials properties and to develop novel materials. Therefore materials physics and materials chemistry specialty were specially founded in specialty directories modified by Academic Degree Commission of State Department. Because of the more and more enhancement of the whole requirements of new or modern materials which serve in high-technology main in modern industry and national defense, the speed of new materials’ research and exploitation is growing with an unprecedented speed and the rapidly emerging new concepts, new theories, new technologies, new ways, new processes, new products and new problems need more and more materials scientists, physical scientists and so on to induce, pack up, conclude, innovate through their endeavor in common. Undoubtedly, the new specialty of materials physics took its shape out of the crossing and penetration between many disciplines’ knowledge. It brings a new area for modern materials’ research, exploitation and the development of the related branches of science. Moreover, it also provides completely systematic theory instruction and technology guarantee for the sustained development of new materials.
The research objects of this specialty are functional materials, composite materials, nano-materials, precious stone optimization and materials modification, utilizing physical principle, advanced instrument and analyzing measure to investigate the relationships between materials’ composition, structures, processing and properties and emphasizing the combination of natural science and culture education in the department. The specialized core courses include Deng Xiaoping theory introduction, advanced mathematics, university physics, modern physics, solid physics, materials introduction, materials surfaces and interfaces, research method in materials science, materials physics, materials failure theory and so on. The department also pays attention to the combination between the foundational theory education and the engineer education as well as between the theory education and the practical education in order to extend students’ knowledge, to consolidate adaptability and to cultivate innovation abilities.
Under the rudder “education must face to modernization, face to world, face to future”, the specialty puts upgrading the quality of the cultivation of people with ability as the first and cultivates the people with advanced abilities who face to 21st century with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence and physical fitness so that they possess solid theory basis and primarily master the materials composition, structures, properties, preparation, modification and modern testing and analyzing technology to engage in materials design, preparation and application research.
The graduation students from this specialty are qualified for research institute, advanced college, academy high technology to engage in advanced physical principle and application, apparatus analysis, material design, preparation and performance research., serving for enterprises and companies in energy, environment, electronic and electric appliances, communication, light industry, chemistry,pharmaceutical, national defense, aviation and aerospace, construction materials, metallurgic and biological engineering and relative fields.
