B：Yes. But not too much. It is considered as the head of five sacred mountains in China.

知道一點兒，但是不多。泰山被中國人尊為五岳之首。

A：Five sacred mountains? Why people call them so?

五岳?為什么人們這么稱呼呢?

B：Because in history, the Chinese emperors used to climb onto these mountains and pay tribute to their ancestors and pray for good harvest and prosperity for the whole nation.

因為歷史上很多中國帝王來到這些山上祭拜祖先，祈求國泰民安。

A：Got it. Can we see any things left by them?

明白了，那還有什么歷史古跡嗎?

B：Definitely. There are many wall paintings and inscriptions on the huge rocks on the mountain.

當然有。有很多他們留下的壁畫和石刻。

A：I want to see them. How can I go there?

B：That is easy. You can go directly to Tai'an city and buy a ticket to Mount Tai.

很簡單，坐直達車到泰安，然后買票去爬泰山。
